Sepals 5; sides of achenes covered with appressed hairs, each longer than the diameter of its subtending tubercle. Flowers Sep.–Jan.
MuM, Wim, GleP, VVP, VRiv, MSB, RobP, MuF, GipP, OtP, WaP, Gold, CVU, GGr, DunT, NIS, EGL, EGU, WPro, HSF, HNF, OtR, Strz, MonT, VAlp. Also WA, SA, NSW, ACT, Tas. Rather common in Victoria, but short-lived, mostly in drier areas following spring or summer rains.
