Euphrasia collina subsp. trichocalycina

Plants 15–62 cm high; branches developing well above ground-level; glandular hairs present on branches and leaves, at least in upper parts, and on rachis, bracts and calyces. Upper leaves 5–16 mm long, with 0–2 pairs of teeth, base rounded to narrowly cuneate. Calyx externally with glandular hairs to 0.1(–0.2) mm long; corollas lacking yellow spot behind lowest lobe, the lower lobes emarginate or shallowly so or ruminate-obtuse, externally with glandular and eglandular hairs; anthers 1.4–2.2 mm long, with rear awns 0.1–0.5 mm long. Seeds 0.5–1.3 mm long. Flowers Aug.–?Jan.
