Dioicous. Scattered plants or gregarious on soil. Stem simple, 0.2–0.4 mm tall; central strand present. Leaves largest near stem apex, ovate, 0.5–1 mm long, erect spreading when moist or dry; apex acuminate; costa percurrent to short-excurrent; margin entire, plane; laminal cells in subula quadrate to rectangular, smooth, bistratose; basal laminal cells rectangular, hyaline. Seta 0.2 mm long, hyaline. Capsule cylindric, rostrate, c. 1 mm long.
