Poranthera corymbosa

Erect shrub 20–100 cm high, glabrous; branches few, each terminating in an inflorescence. Leaves linear to narrow-lanceolate, mostly 3–5 cm long, 1.5–4 mm wide, acute, margins recurved to revolute, glabrous; petiole to c. 1 mm long; stipules entire, membranous. Inflorescences 8–15 cm across; rachis elongating after anthesis; bracts ovate-lanceolate, c. 1.5 mm long. Sepals usually 5, obovate, 1.5–2.5 mm long. Male flowers with 5 stamens, filaments free; female flowers with 3 deeply 2-partite styles. Capsule 2.5–3 mm diam., 3–6-lobed; seeds 6, c. 1 mm long, tuberculate, whitish. Flowers mostly Sep.–Jan.
