 Rhizome long-creeping, dichotomously branched, scaly. Fronds repeatedly 'dichotomously' branched, umbrella-like, forming straggling, bushy colonies; pinnules more than 1 cm long, sessile, oblong to linear. Sori in two rows, with 3–5 pear-shaped sporangia splitting vertically.
About 100 species; 3 in Australia and Victoria.
