Leaves stiffly chartaceous, flattened-trigonous to trigonous, linear, subulate or triangular, 6–27 mm long, 0.5–2 mm wide, floral leaves to 3.5 mm wide. Fruiting perianth winged.
LoM, MuM, Wim, VVP, VRiv, MSB, RobP, MuF, GipP, OtP, Gold, CVU, NIS, EGU, VAlp. Widespread throughout north western Victoria, with disjunct populations near Bacchus Marsh and the upper Snowy River area near Deddick (see note under species profile regarding this population). Usually occupying disturbed areas (e.g. Roadsides, along railway tracks and in paddocks).
