Follicles oblong in profile, slightly constricted at the base, gradually constricted into slender styles (0.3–)0.44–0.52 mm long, laterally compressed, smooth, membranous, usually pale. Flowers Aug.–Nov.
LoM, MuM, Wim, VRiv, RobP, MuF, Gold, CVU, GGr, NIS. Also Wa, SA. Grows usually in sandy soils, commonly on seasonally inundated flats in the north-west, often with C. coloratavar. acuminata and C. sieberiana. .
Distribution based on herbarium specimens only; earlier non-vouchered records not identifiable to variety.
