Prasophyllum rousei

Flowering stem usually moderately stocky, to c. 60 cm tall. Leaf-blade 20–30 cm long, base 2–5 mm diam., usually withered at anthesis. Flowers 10–25, green to greenish-bronze with white labellum and lateral petals, sweetly citrus-scented, in a fairly dense spike 5–12 cm long; ovary obovoid, 5–6 mm long, glossy; sepals 7–10 mm long, dorsal sepal decurved, ovate-lanceolate, lateral sepals free, almost parallel, slightly recurved, apex acute, entire or slightly and asymmetrically bifid; petals 6–9.5 mm long, obovate-spathulate, white at least distally, usually green at base. Labellum 7.5–9.5 mm long when flattened, rather broadly ovate-lanceolate, white, crystalline, recurved at about 90 deg. near the middle, proximal half erect to recurved, not or barely protruding between lateral sepals, margins strongly undulate or crisped-crenulate; callus green at least near base, broadly emarginate, ending just past the labellum bend, basal swelling prominent, pyramidal. Column appendages oblong, c. 3 mm long, white, obtuse. Flowers Oct.–Nov.
