Branchlets densely covered in more or less patent or subappressed hairs. Phyllodes narrowly elliptic, 3.5–4 cm long, 3–4(–6)mm wide, acute to mucronate, pungent to coarsely pungent; gland basal or nearly so, often obscured by dense indumentum extending from pulvinus. Peduncles 6–9 mm long, glabrous; heads globular, c. 5 mm diam. Flowers Aug.–Sep.

EGL, EGU. Also NSW. Restricted to near Mountain Creek (south of Mt Deddick) and along the Genoa River in Victoria. Usually growing among granite boulders in open forest or shrubland.
