Glebionis segetum

Erect annual 20–80 cm high; stems fleshy, glabrous, simple or branched. Leaves sessile, oblong or obovate in outline, pinnate or not divided, 25–70 mm long, 8–25 mm wide, apex acute to obtuse, base hardly or half-clasping, margins dentate or entire. Capitula 1–3, 3–6(–7) cm diam.; peduncles 3–8 cm long; involucral bracts ovate or obovate to lanceolate, 5–12 mm long. Ray florets (9–)12–21, yellow; disc florets numerous, yellow. Cypselas dimorphic, 1.8–3 mm long; ray cypselas weakly trigonous, with 2 obscure narrow lateral wings and 5–8 ribs; disc cypselas terete with 10 ribs. Pappus absent. Flowers late winter–spring.
