Leaves usually with acuminate apices; alar cells usually strongly inflated. Inner perichaetial leaves with serrulate margins.
GleP, GGr, EGL, HSF, HNF, OtR, VAlp. Uncommon in rainforests and beside creeks and waterfalls among drier vegetation, mostly in southern parts of the state. Also QLD, NSW, ACT and Tas. New Zealand, Pacific Islands and South America.
