Very like Lampranthus multiradiatus, but distinguished in the plants being taller, 40–60 cm tall, erect, leaves 25–40 mm long, flowers 50–70 mm diam., inner petals and filamentous staminodes (latter few) short, which are curved over the stamens. Flowers magenta, rarely white. Nov. (2 collections)
GipP, CVU. Native to South Africa. In Victoria, known from two collections, from Long Forest Nature Conservation Reserve near Bacchus Marsh, where growing in Eucalyptus microcarpa open woodland, and a collection from Eagle Point Reserve near Bairnsdale.
