Crassula tetragona subsp. robusta

Shrubs 25–80 cm high, moderately branched, branches 3–9 mm diam. at base. Leaves linear-triangular, 10–35(–50) mm long, 3–6(–8) mm wide, pointed or acute, curved upwards, almost terete to somewhat flattened at the base. Inflorescence bracteate, a rounded thyrse. Flowers 5-merous; calyx-lobes triangular, 0.5–0.7 mm long, acute to rounded; corolla cream, lobes lanceolate, 1.8–2.5 mm long, with dorsal ridge, recurved; nectary scales transversely oblong, 0.2–0.4 mm long, 0.5–0.6 mm wide; carpels, ovoid-conical, with 8–10 ovules.  Flowers spring.
