Tree to 25 m high; bark thin, pale brown or grey, finely fibrous, sparsely-fractured (smooth in appearance), extending to the upper trunk. Juvenile leaves orbicular to ovate, emarginate, blue-green. Peduncles 11–18 mm long; operculum conical, slightly contracted at joint. Fruit 7–10 mm long. Flowers spring and early summer
CVU. Known from a single occurrence near Mt Blackwood.
Distinguished by its large, erect habit, thin, somewhat ‘Peppermint-like’ bark, and relatively long peduncles.
