Scorzonera laciniata
L. ScorzoneraRosetted biennial to 70 cm high, glabrous to pubescent. Basal leaves linear to oblanceolate in outline, 3–18 cm long, 0.5–8 cm wide, acute, mucronate, base sheathing, entire to pinnatisect with a few remote filiform to obovate lobes; cauline leaves mostly linear, to 10 cm long, entire to pinnatisect. Capitula 1–few; peduncles usually bare; involucral bracts lanceolate, 4–40 mm long, sparsely to densely pubescent. Ligules 8–12 mm long, slightly exceeding involucre. Cypselas 10–15 mm long, the base fusiform to ellipsoid, 4–6 mm long, c. 10-ribbed, whitish, glabrous; pappus 10–20 mm long.
