Inflorescence turned to one side, 1.5–3(–5) mm long, 1–2.5 mm wide; primary bracts 5–11; basal bract 2.5–4.2 mm long with apex acuminate; distal bracts with apex obtuse. Flowers mainly Sep.–Dec, rarely Aug.
LoM, MuM, Wim, GleP, VVP, VRiv, GipP, OtP, WaP, Gold, CVU, GGr, DunT, NIS, HSF, HNF, VAlp. Also WA, SA, NSW, Tas. Often abundant in shallow water of small depressions or wetland areas.
