Crassula ericoides subsp. ericoides
Spreading perennial shrub to 25 cm high, often much-branched towards the apex, branches to 4 mm diam. Leaves ovate, 3.2–3.5 mm long, 1.4–1.6 mm wide, acute to obtuse, dorsiventrally flattened, imbricate. Inflorescence a terminal subsessile thyrse with 1–few dichasia. Flowers 5-merous; calyx-lobes linear, 2.4–2.6 mm long, obtuse to swollen towards the apex; corolla cream, lobes linear-elliptic, 4.4–4.8 mm long, dorsally ridged, erect; nectary scales transversely oblong, 0.3–0.4 mm long, 0.4–0.45 mm wide, emarginate; carpels conical, ovules 8 or more. Flowers spring.
VVP, GipP, CVU, EGL. Also SA, Tas. Native to south-eastern southern Africa. Naturalized near Anakie, Parwan, Sunbury, and near Bruthen, in East Gippsland.
