Prostanthera denticulata

Straggling to subprostrate shrub, to 1 m high and c. 2 m diam., aromatic; branches moderately covered with short, more or less appressed antrorse hairs. Leaves narrowly ovate, occasionally ovate, 4–10 mm long, 2–3 mm wide, mid-green, sparsely covered with short, subtuberculate hairs (mostly near margin), moderately glandular (especially on lower surface), base obtuse to rounded, margin entire, recurved, apex obtuse; petiole 0.5–1 mm long. Flowers in a terminal, racemose inflorescence; bracteoles persistent, 1–1.5 mm long, 0.2–0.4 mm wide. Calyx 3.5–5 mm long, tube 2–2.5 mm long, adaxial lobe c. 2 mm long (slightly enlarged in fruit); corolla purple to mauve, 7–10 mm long; anther appendage absent. Flowers spring and early summer.
