Amyema quandang var. quandang

Pendulous shrubs, shortly white-tomentose, older stems and leaves often glabrescent. Leaves opposite or subopposite, lanceolate to elliptic, 3–12 cm long, 8–20 mm wide, falcate, base attenuate, apex acute or rounded, greyish, new foliage often bronze-green; petiole 4–12 mm long. Inflorescence an umbel of triads, the central flower sessile; peduncles 3–10 mm long; rays of umbel 2, 2–8 mm long; pedicels of lateral flowers 1–3 mm long; bracts ovate, 1–1.5 mm long. Calyx abruptly expanded below limb, entire or weakly toothed, limb 0.5–1 mm long; corolla 5-merous, 16–30 mm long, green beneath greyish tomentum; anthers mostly 2–4 mm long, free part of filament c. equal to or slightly longer than anther. Fruit ellipsoid, pyriform or subglobose, 6–10 mm long, olive-green. Flowers mainly May–Oct. (spasmodically at other times of the year).
