Upper stems with erect non-glandular hairs. Leaves lanceolate to narrowly ovate, 5–15 mm wide, margins with shallow, regular teeth especially towards apex. Flowers white or purplish-pink. Flowers mainly Nov.–Mar.
VVP, VRiv, GipP, WaP, CVU, NIS, EGL, EGU, HSF, HNF, MonT, HFE, VAlp. Also Qld, NSW, ACT, Tas. Found mainly in montane areas where it grows in damp places near streams and bogs, often in water.
