Astrotricha sp. 3

Shrubs to c. 1.5 m high, with felted to floccose stems. Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, 20–42(–55) mm long, 2–4(–5) mm wide, rounded, upper surface c. flat, with uniformly and openly distributed very erect narrow horn-like protuberances, these each usually subtended by a short wrinkle (when dry), the leaf surface lustrous, midvein channelled above, evident through hairs below, margin recurved; petioles (0.8–)1.3–2.5 mm long. Inflorescence 45–80(–140) mm long, axes floccose, sometimes glabrescent; bracts linear, 3.0–5.5 mm long. Pedicels 1.0–5.5 mm long; petals 2–2.5 mm long, those of terminal (primary) and lateral umbels apparently discolorous (dry only seen), those of terminal umbel probably pale green, those of lateral umbels probably cream to white; anthers c. 1.5 mm long. Fruit compressed, slightly obovoid, c. 3 mm long, c. 4 mm wide, not locellate. Flowers Nov.–Dec.
