Wim, GleP, VVP, Gold, CVU, GGr, DunT. Also SA. Sporadic in areas where the putative parents T. luteocilium and a member of the T. nuda-pauciflora complex grow together. Flowers late Sep.-early Nov. Occurs sporadically in western Victoria in woodlands, open forests and mallee scrubs and co-extensive with T. luteocilium.
A putative hybrid between T. luteocilium and T. megcalyptra, although plants of similar morphology can arise from the hybridisation of other species. Variable in morphology possibly due to backcrossing with the hybrid parents.
Flowers expand freely on hot, humid days.
