Terrestrial glabrous herbs, arising from small tubers. Leaf solitary, usually at or near the base, long and narrow; bracts along elongate flowering stem small. Flowers 2 or more, with column uppermost; dorsal sepal broad towards the base, incurved over column; lateral sepals and petals narrow, erect or spreading, about as long as dorsal sepal. Labellum sessile, much shorter than petals and sepals, 3-lobed; lamina papillose. Column erect, incurved, narrowly winged, shorter than labellum.

4 species, 2 endemic in Australia (1 species in Victoria, 1 in Western Australia), 1 in New Zealand, 1 in New Caledonia.
