Dense tufts on rock. Stems 2–20 cm long. Leaves erect-spreading to squarrose, often falcate-secund, lanceolate, 1.5–2.3 mm long, 0.4–0.8 mm wide; apices acute; costae short-excurrent; margins singly denticulate to serrate, plane; laminal cells rectangular or long-hexagonal; basal cells 50–108 long, 10–22 wide; cells in apical half 21–96 μm long, 6–12 μm wide, prorate.
HNF, VAlp. New Zealand. Recorded from moist rockfaces near waterfalls and roads among wet sclerophyll forest below the Bogong High Plains and Snowy Range.
