Drosera macrantha subsp. planchonii
(Hook.f. ex Planch.) N.G.MarchantTuber more or less globose. Stem simple, up to c. 1 m long, scrambling to climbing, sparsely to moderately glandular hairy distally. Leaves cauline, in alternate groups of 3 (or 4), peltate; petiole (5–)10–50 mm long; lamina orbicular, deeply concave, inverted, 4–10 mm diam.; stipules absent. Inflorescence terminal, irregularly paniculate, 2–many-flowered; bracts linear-obovate, 3–5 mm long; pedicels 3–15 mm long; sepals 5, often narrow, more or less ovate or obovate, 3–9 mm long, moderately to densely glandular-hairy, margin entire, ciliate or laciniate, apex usually obtuse, sometimes truncate; petals 5, obovate, 6–14 mm long, usually white, sometimes pink or red; styles 3, each 2.5–3.5 mm long, dichotomously branched from base. Capsule globose, to c. 8 mm diam.; seeds 'nail-shaped' with a thickened head region, a longitudinal flange and a dilated, flattened foot region. Flowers mainly Aug.–Nov.
